[hometext] => This, like all of my poems and prose, was written while I was in a black out stage. I black out and just write, so I'm sorry if you don't understand it.
[bodytext] => Last summer we were human. Latex touching soft skin, Our bodies weaving into one another. Touching heaven, Touching you, Looking down on Lost Souls. Newfound senses, unbound spirits. We tamed our emotions, Then sent them back into the wild to be with their fathers. You noticed my hand in yours and all was fine--All was kosher. The night grew, darkening our reflections, Dissolving our shadows. You danced in the moonlight and I smiled. We sang ancient songs of our ancestors with drunken, slurring words. The waves consuming the sand and your toes, My heart consuming your tears. The night guard announced that the pier would soon be closing, But we denied his warning. I drank upon your moist lips And made love to you like burning sand. Your curves imprinted on the shore, Your fingernails imprinted in my back. Last summer we were tribal, Last summer we were lust.
