Searching the darkness, fruitless passage of time.
I continue to live even though I am lost.

I have reached the boundaries of my abilities and can go no further.
I see the salvation of truth, and the knowledge of the unknown.

Life is a journey; I travel far and wide to soak in rays from the bright shining wisdom.
A fork lies ahead, leading to more yet inabilities.
In the quest for the all-knowing supremacy I am careening down the raging river that is my curiosity.
My voyage has twists and turns and the shallow waters of my inability.
Floating on my determination I ride, confident and proud of my resolve to brave the whirlpools of my idleness; eventually the rush will slow, and in the end, it will all be over.

At the end of the river, an empty clearing in the forest.
Time seems to have stopped as I exit from the safety of my determination.
My confidence and pride shrinking in the bright light that shines upon me.
The world is blinded by the nirvana, with its intense scrutiny shining down for judgement.
I am on trial, my prosecutor is the Devil.
The burning rage, stabbing at me, escalating my sins to a blood curdling crescendo.
The Devil is upon me, seeking to gain control over my soul in the depths of his eternal black fire.
I have no voice to defend myself, no mode in which to plead forgiveness from the highest power.
I feel that I could explode and cover the world over with an atomic wave of my agony.
The pain piercing my skin, rattling my veins, it is torture through unholy means.
God is the judge, seeking the truth to where my journey is yet to lead.
Watching as I writhe under the attacks from the most evil.
Stepping in, He saves me from the utmost torture, giving me back the peace that seemed to have eternally left my soul.
He brings me into the light, and I feel the soft caress of the eternal bliss that is the crisp white of paradise.
I ascend the steps to the golden gates, and they open before me.

I am plunged into darkness, consuming my soul, and I know I am being condemned to the lowers of the most vile burning desolation.
Consumed by the eternal fire, I am forever set to torture over the roasting coals, fed by the magnitude of my sins; burning away my shell of confidence and pride, leaving me a heaving mass of sorrow. You paint a good picture of man condeming himself to hell
For in the end we judge ourselves
I can't believe there are no other comments
your poem is very good
