And for a moment I escape reality
Nothing can touch me
Except this pain I feel
But soon after
I drown in sorrow
Realizing what I have done
Who I have hurt
Knowing what they will think of me
But I am not the attention starved child
They say I am
I only do it because I can
What else is there to do?
I've givin up on my reason why
This action is a cry from inside
An aching heart longing to let go
But once again not able to let go
So.......

*hugs* good work there. I know what you feel like when you write that I think. At least the part where people accuse you of being attention seeking. That's one reason I hide my scars...so people realize that's not why I do it. We do it cause we can. And cause it helps.

Sweet job putting it into words. Keep it up.

how u know u hurt other people doing it
but its like u have no choice
its that or dealing with the anxity and the panic
but u cant do that. cutting gets rid of it really fast so u can just move on, great write babe

sober thoughts, so beautifully woven in emotions.

Liked your style.
Hoping its just a poem, not a reality.

I don't find it hard to understand at all, it's how you feel inside, and so you write, great job, sometimes you just got to let it out.
