I wonder what she's doing there
Her mom has not been seen

I watch her stare into that tree
not knowing what she sees
I wish I was a little child
but then thats only me

Perhaps she sees a rainbow
Perhaps she sees the sun
Perhaps she see the little birds and that is giving her, her fun

Perhaps she sees an angel
Perhaps she''s looking at the sky
Perhaps there is a butterfly that just has fluttered by

I wonder what she''s doing there
I wonder what she sees
I wonder if its nothing more than a tree within the breeze.

She sits and looks some more I guess
I sit and watch her too
The little girl has brought me joy
and yet there is nothing she had to do....

that's great, i really like it. Simple, but does it really need to be complicated to be meaningful? By no means.
Good job!

Yeah, the real Jenni Fru Fru is back!!!!! It is about time. Enough living in the dark, o.k? lol
I love this. When I was a youngster we had these 300-400 year old oaks in our yard and they fascinated me. Their bark, their width, their height and the leaves and acorn and squirrels that lived there. I could play all day long in their shade and be perfectly contented. Gosh, I miss those times. Great poem, sweetpea.

Rita
