That I miss your sweet and tender kiss
As you lay down by my side,
Wanting to forever hide
Beneath the covers, keep you close to my heart,
It's on a night like this that I wonder why we ever had to part.

Nights like these, they are hard on the soul,
They tell the rebelling heart that it's right not to let go,
And as the tears softly course their way
Down my face, I lay
Softly weeping in the night,
Yes, on nights like these, I miss you at my side.

I stare up at the moon, crystal ice, just like my soul,
Wondering what ever gave us the right to let go.
We were destined for each other, we had so much to give,
And on nights like these, I know, that it's for you that my heart lives.
Staring out into space, just wishing for you to appear,
On nights like these, I just need you here.

So I'll lie awake and dreamlessly daydream,
Walk around in memories,
Think about how it used to be
When it was for forever, you and me,
And when the sun starts to rise, Remind myself that I'm alive,
Go about my routine, and in the daylight, refuse to cry. Sounds to me like you got it bad.... So sad but be glad 'cause your poem's rad.

It's good. Of course I like it for the emotional content and the feelings it conveys.

Keep up the good work.

Rough copy? Who you trying to fool Gin? There's nothing rough about it as far as I'm concerned. Great write as always.
