[hometext] => This was written to my boyfriend the day after my high school graduation... he had left to go on vacation.
[bodytext] => Sunday smiles upon me with false security Days spread out ahead like endless rows of chairs yet to be folded and stored away... So recently were they occupied- Was it yesterday? Now there is nothing but a sea of white plastic And wilted flowers Scattered across the hard ground. My heart still sees your face Your ceaseless beauty rests in the nether regions of my soul But you are gone. So cruelly my eyes are denied the beautious sight of you And long days And lonely nights Pass so slowly across the vast expanse of time. The void I feel beside me grows stronger, Tirelessly I count the days passed until your return; One... Two... And like those many chairs my heart remains Folded, cold, Empty Until again it is warmed by your embrace.
