[time] => 2004-04-13 22:31:17 [hometext] => It's hard to explain the meaning of this write... it simply describe occurences in my life I express in a metaphorical manner, you, however, may translate it in an entirely different way than I what I am trying to describe... [bodytext] => Abandoned I was, among this weary courtyard,
Aimlessly I wandered, throughout vast corridors of mind.
Engrossed by infinite mist, and endless, dreary fog,
Into the abyss, I traveled, to see what I may find.

Miles reduced to inches, this surreptitious thought abbreviated,
Years devaluated to mere seconds, yet no such eternal disorder alleviated.
But I have arrived, at no certain destination,
And I have departed, from an unknown location.

Yet ahead, branching are depondent roads,
Sidetracked by encouraging avenues,
Without any sign, or indication to guide my direction,
I simply play the guessing game, a random path I choose.

But before I can select my fate, or possibly my success,
The corner of my eye spots a figure's movement,
To one side, a darkened sillhouette, I notice,
The shadow produced by a lonesome migrant.

And so by this time, curiousity overtakes my control,
Only in search of this mysterious ghost,
To put a face to another wandering soul,
And discover who it is, I think of most.

And so the destiny is created,
Not by me, the cautious mind deliberating,
But by the emotion instigated,
And chosen, was my predestination.

It was you, to my utter astonishment,
Who took form of the shapely apparition,
The one roving with beauty God-sent,
And a mind with such imagination.

But when question yearning for an answer,
Is responded by a satisfying solution,
Yet additional wonder is imposed,
And another inquiry composed within.

My new inquisiton arisen,
Does not ask as to who you are,
For this I may already know,
But the reply I seek,
Is...
Am in search of you,
Or are you looking for me? [comments] => 7 [counter] => 206 [topic] => 2 [informant] => morelikelyrics [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 24 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
