Let me give you the comfort of my death
Music and the scent of roses
Are just some of what's left
As the conquering army marches through town
Images of my past life will be found

deeply and truely felt... some details do not add up to me, but since this is adressed to a special person, it will presumably make sense to her (him?).

very nice write. lots of emotion, i liked the ending very much.
