[hometext] => the crazy rabid human eating deranged beavers are out to get you
[bodytext] => Driving alone the empty paths I begin to become insecure What I've seen I've never past But I'd followed the directions, I was sure The sun was shining brightly Scalding hot against my skin Myself a mess, my hair unsightly To find my way home, I did begin I found myself even more lost I didn't see the boulder before me From the jeep I was tossed My head hitting the tree Unconscious for a while I awoke in the arrid heat Standing beside the waters mild The hot ground burning beneath my feet With nowhere to go and noone to help me I began walking along the riverside Watching out for anyone I could see A barren land, the looks implied Catching something from the corner of my eye A tiny beaver building it's home I grinned and let out a tiny sigh I thought that life this land condoned Then suddenly the beaver went whack And ran after me like wild And at my arm it began to hack Ripping through as it would a tiny child I howled in pain and kicked it away And ran up a great big mountain And climbed up it for about a day Myself in pain, screaming and shouting My arm was limp, torn and bloody As I straggled up the mountainside I slipped and fell in the lands that were muddy I wished there was somewhere I could hide From the human-eating animals that lived in these lands What treachery, what scandal! Was hidden in these sands... My rescue plane then came for me Oh joy! I thought, it's over But then the plane crashed into the trees And I'd not bothered to duck for cover [comments] => 2 [counter] => 172 [topic] => 7 [informant] => katzie [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )
