To have your flesh ripped apart?
Internal bleeding's a *****
Life support, where's the switch
To turn it off and just let go
March was never this cold
A chill down my spine
Tastes of December,
do you remember?
It was so cold and dark
And now this room is the same
Almost dusk and my eyes
Have not rested a second
A million thoughts racing
My heart quickly pacing
What's a girl to do?
Intuition is so wrong
What I should and what I want
Polar opposites at the least
Do the ends justify the means?
Can I justify adultery?
Is it rape if I'm willing?
It's filling me inside
With all this doubt and hate
I'm scared
I just can't trust fate
I turn my back on all I trust
Wait for love? Give into lust?
It's all too much
I'm breaking apart
One does not go insane by the mind
But by the holes within a heart
A thousand mad thoughts
High on some bad drug
Life support just prolongs the inevitable
End my pain and pull the plug [comments] => 5 [counter] => 238 [topic] => 36 [informant] => teenageemogirl [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

A lot of us deal with depression on a day to day basis, some have it worse than others. But when we're riding the dark horse it is seriously bad stuff for each of us. All I can say is that you will get through it, might take a while but you will....I'm with selby don't pull the plug!

I liked. It was really powerful and I've felt pretty close to this before. If you can endure the pain mayhap one day it will pay off. You never know. You can only wait to find out or give up. The choice is always yours.

Depression can be a bottomless pit of sorrow that alot just think you should snap out of but it isn't that easy. Sad but good write.
