(Funny how, when in love, even a meter
is a mile too far.)

All I can do is sit here as I feel
the sweetest wine
drip onto my pierced with Cupid’s arrows heart.
I feel the wine drug me and the muse who sleeps in my heart.
She’s woken up by my pain and with her tongue
loosened up, she seduces my mind by whispering in my ear
or worlds created only for you and me,
worlds created by the warmth of your smile,
the gravity of your heart which pulls in and purifies all
with your love.
As the dipped in your love arrows’ jagged edges
plant themselves deeper into my heart
I smile
as more of you enters my heart and your gravity
grabs me and pulls me into
bliss.

You’re so far away from me
growing, living, laughing
without me.
