Her golden rays have my attention bound.
When on the breeze I hear the sound,
Of the fiddler’s music.

The tune he plays is mellow and compelling
When heard brings my emotions swelling.
T ‘is a song I sang once to a lover
To whom I promised my heart forever.

But tonight I imagine this musician
Playing his music with reverent passion
His love of expression and performance,
Drives him, strives him to artistic perfection.

He plays throughout the evenings
I feel the music soothe my feelings
The melodies he plays have been our anthems
The vision splendid when I feel the passion.

The sweat flows from his temple
Calloused fingers caress the fiddle
His bow moves back-and-forth-in-rhythm
Swathing himself in the music’s vision.

His face portrays immense intensity
Showing his love for this ability
This person with his inspiring gift
Gives me a lifeline, to peaceful bliss.

tt, this is splendid. Music truly can soothe a savage beast. It is the universal language. I think this is one of your best pieces.

That was beautiful....there's a sense of gloriousness and the magic of music prevalent throughout the poem. I want to waltz now.

Beautiful, real attention given to detail.
I could almost smell the air
