[hometext] => Heavens Above is a poem about how an individual perceived, as seen visually, the beginning of the universe over the course of one night.
[bodytext] => Quietly I view the nightly heavens above. Hearing the beat of my heart amidst the twinkling darkness. Entranced by the vastness and splender I see. Wondering what fascinations that await. Streaks of lightly shaded colors, Dancing about in every known direction. Chaos and destruction with a recognizable purpose. A clash that forms a common spectacle. Blinding brilliance that captures the scene. Massive emptiness grasping forever's end. Endless space a never ending dream. The warmth of a new dawn causing covered eyes. Pulled back to the place of origin. Exhausted and weak from this recent journey. I awake feeling refreshed ready to start over. To quietly view the daily heavens above.
