I've been awake for too long
My dreams are bleeding out
Of the seam that spreads from my side
My thoughts have degraded to doubts

I can no longer feel the embrace of you
I can't decipher whats real or what is true

My eyes are going numb
As blood and tears come
From the rift inside of my mind
A link to forgotten times

Shut out
Deny It
Resist
Defy It

Kiss me
My world is caving in
The nightmares have stolen me
I can't make myself function
My lungs refuse to breathe

A red cloud drifts above my head
It tries to drown me with the blood you've shed

My mouth is almost full
I could spit if I'd like
But then you wouldn't taste
Your own alibi

Pretend
Ignore it
Ascend
Desert it

Kiss me
I am a corpse dead from love
Your touch could bring me back
But you no longer care
And you slip out through the cracks [comments] => 4 [counter] => 169 [topic] => 60 [informant] => sicknivesevered [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => insomniac )
