without feeling regret
and now they want me to talk to you
i don't think i could handle that
you were one of a kind
the one made for me
but if you were the one for me
why arn't you with me
you were the one that always made me laugh
at things not even said
you made me smile
with just one stare
when i was sitting acoss the room over there
i never had to worry about my hair
or about what i wore
you always found me beautiful
thats another reason why i liked you
sometimes you made me feel
like i could fly
above the sky
i can't believe i let you slip
i guess that was my fault
i didn't love you back
it took me awhile to
know my own feelings
to know that i loved you
but by that time you were gone
so now i'm sitting here
pouring out my thoughts
maybe one day
you may read this
and still feel the same way
but i really doubt
those feelings would stay
after all these years of heart aches
but if you do
just remember
i will always
