[bodytext] => Investigating a flower I study the stamen and pistol, the pollen sticking to my fingers is obscene. I brush it away on my blue jeans and probe on. the bees are busy in the summer... Taking stock and violating them, I think of the bees and the odd love triangle...flower to bee to flower. Ashamed I look away and return a second later, peeling away leaves, the petals, a bizarre striptease. I rub my finger along the stamen, then rip into the body to the ovaries... I hold them in my hand, embarassed. I turn a shade red like the lily I am holding. She is beautiful, even crushed and leaking on my fingers. Her sap streams down my hands and I supress the urge to taste it. From the pollen on my thigh, I hope to create a new breed. What will happen if.... I smear it on the stock and on the marigolds. I gently caress their secret places and hope that no one sees me smile. What will happen if... Will they breed, will there be something between them and me? Thinking on this I become dizzy and sit down hard on the grass, broken lily in my hand. We are both spent.
