Array ( [sid] => 33953 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => I didnt know [time] => 2004-02-05 11:50:58 [hometext] => This is a poem i wrote to my george...after i assumed that our realtionship was merly based on intercourse. [bodytext] => I feel like a young child
Not knowing how to act or what to say
I have screwed up yet again
I didn’t know how much I really mean to you

I assumed something that wasn’t true
I had some unfounded doubts
And now you are left to wonder if you’re the guy for me
I love you so much and wished I could take it back

I want to spend my rest of my days with you
I know you will forgive me for what I said
I know now that our relationship as much strength
How do I express what I feel deep inside?

I feel like a young child again
Not know how to act or what to say
I know I love you and I say that loud and clear
You are everything that you aught to be

No more will I wonder what to you I mean
No more secret fears that I am not good enough
I may feel like a young child
But young children grow and learn and are not young forever.

I thought this was really cute... lol. The only constructive criticism I have is that in the second stanza you say he's left wondering if he's the one for you and you wish you could take it back, like it had a really negative effect on the relationship and gave him serious doubts, and then in the next stanza you say that you know he'll forgive you and the relationship is so strong... it really contradicts itself. Other than that, though, I like it. The end is very cute! Deep yet lighthearted. Good job!

Don't be so hard on yourself.
As women sometimes we do wonder but that's a natural for a person to wonder.
Very good writing.
luv, huggs,
emy
