When I left in such a frenzy.
There's more in store for us you'll see,
Only then we'll know what will be,will be.
Silence is golden and sight is from afar,
Often wondering how you are.
From the side lines am I waiting?
No...That's what I call anticipating.
But Center Stage is where I'm best,
To put us through this little test.
As hard as you try to run from me,
When we come face to face the truth will be,
When our eyes meet I shall see,
If you have true feelings for me.
Will our hearts go aflutter,
Skipping beats for one another?
One memory of a night we had,
Keeps me wondering what went bad.
Barriers & shields aroundourheartsarebound,
All of them must come tumbling down.
We would be cheating ourselvestonotpursue,
Our true feelings which are all new.
Run as fast as you can from me,
But in your eyes I will see,
True feelings felt for me.
Then sit back and plan to stay awhile,
Center Stage I'll be waiting with a smile. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 25 [informant] => rubydee [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )

Wonderment and confidence, wrapped up in a slew of thoughts outspoken so brash that I'm wondering if the egghead will catch on! I like this...

Good write, if the parting is easy - it might be not meant to be. subnet_spider
