it was kinda creepy
his false falsetto
violating the night air
like everything else he touched

the moon blew chill scythes of pale light
across the gazebo floor
as he paced back and forth
in his pink thong
and black silk robe

he promised to teach me
the dark secret things
if i would just let him
do it again
still unsure, i sat silent

he sang softly
as he painted me in his mind
i think i was still naked
but i can't remember
the pills were kicking in again

lying on my stomach
the wooden floor glazed in frost
naked, but not cold
weight on top of me
everything appearing in flashes
and black patches of Nothing

i could hear him
back there, up there
he was telling me the secrets
but i couldn't concentrate
everything felt so alive
so many colors that i would never see again
so many thoughts that i would never think again
so many feelings that i would never feel again
so many things dying inside me

his voice was deep and jagged
as he taught me everything
but my mind was in a million pieces
and i was in a million places

i woke to find the moon quite low
nearly out of sight
renewed frost stinging my skin
Sparkles was asleep on my back
drooling onto my shoulder

dragging the murky waters of my mind
trying to remember the secrets
sobbing dryly as i realized
that i had lost everything
only to gain Nothing

i pushed myself up
dumping Sparkles off my back
he rolled lazily off
slumping to the floor
snoring softly
leaving a trail of a million little Sparkles
between he and i

picking through my stash
i found a pill that Sparkles had never seen
a small black pill
cryptically signed
in a pale alien hand

i chewed the pill into a powder
and drooled the resin onto his face
giggling quietly
as i heard the moist hiss
of his flesh melting away
then a dry cracking sound
as his skull decalcified

i'm not really sure exactly when he died
and i'm not really sure if it matters

once the powder had done it's job
i lightly thumped the front of his skull
and watched it crumble and cave in

sticking my delicate hand inside
i scooped out the wet contents of his skull
growing frightened as i returned
handful after handful of pink tissue

as i was nearing tears
my fingers grazed something
hard and abrasive
as i exhumed it
the last slivers of moonlight caught it
and it reflected with an ebony brilliance
that made my whole body shiver

i licked it, to sample
and tasted copper and dust
as i considered it's taste
something tore in my mind
and through the tear
poured dark airy things
that whispered in unknown tongues
and groped my mind with anxious fingers
celibate to the point of madness

i ate the black piece of brain
and with each bite
more shadows of forgotten secrets
swam through the rip in my mind
each raping my mind in turn
the groans of ethereal orgasm
shaking my skull so violently
that teeth fell from my mouth
without a hint of blood

i swallowed the last bite
as the blood stained sun peeked out

still naked
filled with foreign fluids
and mental monsters of molestation
i stood and let the sun baptize me
in the hue of life lost to pain
but it didn't look the same
didn't feel the same

my life reduced to eternal sigh
sick desires brought to surface
my spatter spent in every available vessel
for this dead knowledge "came" at a cost
i price to pay for all i gained
though even more was lost [comments] => 4 [counter] => 301 [topic] => 59 [informant] => Cancer [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 1 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => psychoticpoems )

Hey, Cancer, why do I get the feeling this is going to be one of those "scrawl"s of yours that I'll keep going back to and rereading yet never comment on?

What I took from this write is this-A person wanting the secrets of another and was willing to be violated to get them. Unfortunately the secrets weren't remembered so in eating the brain the secrets were transferred and the cost was to end up being just like sparkles. This was a dark write and I could be way off. To tell you the truth it is sort of creepy to me. You write well but I cannot follow your mind. Kie

I think 'Sparkles' was gay not that it matters. The description in this was mindblowing and I think that may have scared a few of the weaker ppl off. Anyway i can't say enough about this poem (which seems to be a regular occurence), but I hope to talk to u on MSN soon.
