Array ( [sid] => 32330 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => My dream home [time] => 2004-01-21 18:19:13 [hometext] => I wrote this for my best friend 4 years ago when she found her dream home. [bodytext] => The day she found out how easy it was
To move to a house where she was the boss
Was the day that my friend for good or for bad
Made the rest of her friends both happy and sad

She had wanted to move for such a long time
To a house of her own "that I can call mine"
Of course to share with the hubby and kids
But she was the one who said "these are our digs"

And so they went hunting for their special dream home
Looking but not finding a home of their own
But just a week later by chance did they find
A house they found warm, cosy and kind

And if luck would have it, a neighbour they heard
Was someone they knew, how completely absurd
To find a house, buy a house in just over a week
And have nice neighbours, it all sounds so sweet

But my mate deserves it, she's one of a kind
I know she'll be happy with her new find
I really will miss her, although she's not far
Ten minutes on foot, half that by car

So Paula, good on ya
I know all will go well
But how did you get so lucky?
Go on, please tell ! [comments] => 3 [counter] => 166 [topic] => 16 [informant] => AliB [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FriendshipPoetry )
