Array ( [sid] => 2973 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Bowl [time] => 2002-08-29 11:29:39 [hometext] => This song is about that great artistic idea that blows away before you get a chance to write it down. I'm sure everyone on this site can relate. [bodytext] => My hair hasn’t been cut in years,
it’s only been slicked back.
I miss the days of endless fears
and always looking back.

I really should get an ashtray
before my mindset blows away
clear my consciousness today
forget what I forgot to say.

Kiss the kids and feel the poor
threw a dolla at a whore
bought a tin of phony meat
laughed until I couldn’t eat.

I learned a brand new word today
so I could write what I could say
but all my visions blew away
like crackled broken human clay.

It’s hard to see the stars tonight
that cop car’s signal’s far too bright.
If I had half a tank of gas,
I’d ride to phoenix with my lass.

I really should get an ashtray
before my mindset blows away
clear my consciousness today
forget what I forgot to say. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 169 [topic] => 34 [informant] => Butterat_Zool [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SongLyrics )
