Array ( [sid] => 29688 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Surrender [time] => 2003-12-18 17:53:02 [hometext] => If you believe in Jesus or whatever... it's kinda like him failing everyone and thinking out loud. I don't believe in him but it's a good analogy. [bodytext] => The world is coming to an end
I can't forget the things you said
The echoes ringing in my head
I surrender.

I can't take this world anymore
Happiness's what I was going for
I lost the last shred of peace some yore
I surrender.

It's killing me too, to bow down,
To the world of sorrow.
Resist! Have hope!
For Always Tomorrow
But for today I can only pray
Then lower my head
I surrender.

All I ever wanted was a smile
Corruption, satanic, versatile
Moonstones glower in adroit style
With my war-torn shreds
I surrender.

Everything! Flaccid, outdated,
Once houses of love now're dilapidated
Nothing this great was anticipated
We have fallen together.
We surrender. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 191 [topic] => 56 [informant] => Suz [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => sarcasticpoetry )

It is very hard to say Lord I surrender all to you...my entire life..I give you my past, my present,my future ..it is yours....jesus is the son of god...but GOD STILL.....GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT...He loves you enough that he came down and died on the cross...the blood that was shed washes us white as snow...we are all sinners fallen short of the glory of GOD..his glory is so great His holiness cant have sin around him so when we sinned in the garden he had to make a way for us to be brought into fellowship with him....and that is the bridge that jesus brought to us.....he loves you ...and surrendering is surrending your ways to work his ways..live for him so he can use you to bring others to him....be empty of yourself to die to yourself to be filled up in him.....sandy
