[hometext] => Another one that just came to me
[bodytext] => There lied One night A husband weeping After finding his wife sleeping Sleeping merrily in the arms Caught, lost soul, to another man's charms And sighed Of sight He could not know In his heart of hearts layed low And yet should he not confront her? But frozen, his heart torn asunder It came That day When she arose After suffering a night full of throws Throws her husband found to reason When he sought from her of this treason And shame To say She could not tell Yet he was the one going through hell Both stricken with a loss of love Fell silence that they could make nothing of Her soul It cried She shed no tear Knowing not what most to fear And the man who, himself, teared free Searched his heart but failed to see The hole She lied In granting no truth For she knew that he held all proof A hole now growing in his heart And, out of words, he could not start She fled But what Without destination She wanted not to hear his presentation Caring only for her pain Hoping she would not show the strain And led Door shut Up to her room To find a place no thoughts would loom Retreating from a silent evil This is when she found the needle But man Now found In solitude Wished himself a new attitude Falling from melancholy to worse He could not make his feelings disperse She ran With sound To fetch the pin Displaying a simple fateful grin The pin, fashioned for a hat But she had found a new use for that All thought In flury He must now go She meant the world to him he'd show Show her in a feat of precision Off to find an instrument to make the incision She sought In hurry Onto trhe balcony She lofted the pin and fell to knee The shame she wished not to know She truly loved him, this she'd show In haste He too Had found the key To rid him of this wretched tragedy Both plunging at the same instant So that even their marks be found consistent There traced From two A thin red line That caught the sun and began to shine Both finding themselves in equal pain Had chosen to end it one in the same [comments] => 1 [counter] => 285 [topic] => 36 [informant] => Darien [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )
