Array ( [sid] => 29504 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Pawns Of A Sad Society [time] => 2003-12-16 13:53:27 [hometext] => This poem is just one of my favorites that i have written because I feel Like its speaks the truth about society today Vist me at www.poetrypoems.com/thelastdeadangel thanks [bodytext] => I just want all of you to go away, just leave me alone, why can’t all of you see
This Life of yours just isn’t going to be
When you all are gone
You will finally realize that you all where just pawns
Pawns In this master plan that they call society
The Ones that Are Called the Mighty
The Ones that are really ruling your life
The Ones that are making you Cheat on your Wife
It’s The Devils Within us that we can’t see
It’s the Devils Within us that wont just let us be
The Ones that you will never meet
Are the ones that decide whether you ever eat
What will you do, if we can’t escape from this world
This World that just has all of you swirled
Swirled into this oblivion that we all call Living
I am tired of all the deceiving
This is why I am about to Die
This is why I cry
This Society will no longer hold me
It soon will all just seem
So much clearer to you when you’re gone
When you all finally Realize that you where all Pawns in A Sad Society
