is it wise i wonder?
to tinker with the unknown
allow myself such leisurely excursions
what reason draws me near
to undo and reconstruct
something i know so little of
fearless experimentation
all those tiny wires
connect and disconnect
a brain, a friend, a confidante
a bit if jekkyl and hyde in me
or perhap some frankenstein
the need to take apart the works
understand the anatomy
of this plain little metal box
with so many secrets locked inside
a wondrous thing indeed it is
and i with my screwdriver tinkering
with clips and snaps and colored wires
and a lot more dust than i would have guessed
i could sit here all day long
connecting all these little things
and now the final most important test
cross my fingers and plug it in
all i can do is hope for the best

Smiling and very close to laughter. I am imagining someone tinkering who looks like a combination of Dr. Jekkyl, Mr. Hyde and Frankenstein and maybe Albert Einstein. I thought this was so cute and I hope you don't get an electrical shock.

Good luck....

Kie
