I let out my life with a sigh
Sick of cooping up these emotions
Wanting to take this razor
This exacto knife, this lighter
And show the world how [i] sick [/i] I really am

The smell of burning flesh
Caresses my nostrils, pain
Floods my brain
The longing to taste blood
Overwhelms my weakened defences

I think about jumping off a bridge
That's so quick, but messy,
But like a magnet
Or some subliminal message
Buzzing in my brain, I'm beckoned

I walk around town
Aimlessly, like some lost beggar
No purpose just talking to myself
Pointed and laughed at
I don't care I'm beyond feeling

I'm frozen inside, void of feeling
Put a bullet in me
Saunter away as my life ebbs
I'm sure God will give you a medal
For ending one poor man's suffering [comments] => 6 [counter] => 493 [topic] => 36 [informant] => bobotheclown [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 12 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

I actually did like this. For some reason I seem to love peoms about other people's pain. It makes me happy. Burning flesh is a nice poutpouri isn't it?
I give this a 4.6 on the Nortiscale.

This was an interesting one... I can relate to some of the ideas though heh. Except I want to jump off a bridge... With a bungee cord of course.
