Then the flashing of steel,
in a flash, how I feel
so much better...

And now,
I'm bleeding and I'm laughing...

With lips always alone
I breathe to the crimson heartbeat

And I suck it up

I talk to you.

My heart is bleeding, and I'm crying

I dunno if I understand this but there are so many interpretations to this write. I loved how it was expressed though it had an incredibly sad tone to it.

Whoa.

The beautiful thing about poetry is a poem can have a special meaning to the author, an entirely different special meaning to one of the readers, and a third special meaning to another.

This poem meant a lot to me. Probably in a totally different way then it meant to you while writing it, and a different way from the other commentors and readers.

And since you could probably say, with honesty, "this poem hit everyone who read it, made an impact for everyone, each on a different level", all I can say is this:

Congratulations. This is poetry.

this cut me deep (no pun intended). I totally know where yer at the loneliness and the fear of giving in and rendering yourself a failure. I cut myself about a month ago and that was the first time for me since June and I don't know what I'm getting at except that I can feel yer pain man. Hang tight.

just to clarify it was about lonliness, but not about giving up and seeming a failure...

ill-timed girl problems, adding to stress and depression and adding a nice sizzling ***** the f*ck off feeling quite assisted my decision
