To win or lose
Constantly I am ungrateful for thy pity
Yet thy sympathy has no value
Countless nights I spend dreaming of lands far, far away
A lone warrior comes to my aid
I convert my ugliness into beauty
All visions turn into reality
In a world where practicality is taken for granted
Where broken hearts are amended
And love is given aboundingly

I see an image of thy face
Splendour undimmed before the breaking of dawn
I repel the pain and agony
You have brought unto me
Seeing only valour and glory in thine eyes
My prince has come to rescue me

Years I have waited in darkness
Only to come and find
My handsome price
Is full of malice
Craving the color of blood
Bright red it alures you to kill
Bending thy plans and thy will
Take me with you into the fight
The havoc you reak cannot hinder my plight

Thy relentless tears are meaningless
You have lost the battle
You have lost the war
Unfilling the emptiness of your heart to it's core
I hath carried the burdon you have bore
Across the meadows, the valley, the sea
Your passion has taken control
You hunt for satisfaction like a beast
Unmerciful standing before thy prey
Watching blood drip at it's death
Droplets floating into a pool
You bathe in the blood
Tasting the bitter-sweetness of victory
Satisfaction doth come easily
To those who are willing to risk defeat

Caked in blood you returneth to me
To the place that you hath conceiveth me
Only to find
I am no longer there
I have gone away
My heart bid me to go
With the does of the field
And the birds of the air
Whither then shall you find me?
I have fled from thee... ...

I intendeth not to return
Your soul has only the desire for death
To survive, you must take lives away
From the meek and nieve
In things so pure you can see no beauty
So tell me... ... ...

How can you see beauty in me?
