Wondering where the world is hiding

Kicking the thoughts from this skull
Crash and burn

Somewhere I lost it
I don't know where
Somehow you tainted me
And it's still not there

Poison hearts will never change
Dreaming of the providence of second chance

Losing the sight I fought for
Catching myself, falling at a glance

Living inside the most of it all
Losing myself to nothing

Darkness in the alley
Make myself into the light

More than a wishing hope
And less than screaming chance

Losing myself to nothing
And falling at a glance

Cutthroat happy
Deepening sad

Get away from your torment
Driving you mad

Thumbing through the memories
Just passing through

Running out of answers and arguments
Nothing left to do

Flying more than fleeting
Falling more than now

Catching myself feeling
Find my way somehow

Dreaming of the providence
Find my second try

Get up and pick up the pieces
Lay down and die

Meant for something
You will never tell
Things you feel for nothing
Emotion thrown all to hell

Living inside
The pain running so deep
Darkness in the alley
And the shadows begin to creep

More than what is offered
Ask for less than we know
Don't take away from feeling
Just let go

Hoping meaningful wishes
Gasping for my air

Still I find me waiting
And still you're never there

Dreaming of the providence
Yet there is never any sleep

Darkness in the alley

Through my mind the shadows creep
