for your love in warm embrace
Tonight as I have dreamed of you,
like tomorrow, and today

Strange how fears intrusions seem
that somehow you aren't real
but, this love that I keep dreaming of,
the precious love I crave,
is but a fragile candle flame
that flickers in my cave

And if only I could hold you
in my arms instead of dreams
as though I'm touching angels;
in-cradled by their wings
and if I whispered how I love you
directly in your ear
then magically you'd love me true;
and my eyes would bare no tear

Do you know in dreams that wake me,
I live in your desire;
breathing life and knowing love
and seeing candles fire
begin to dance and flicker
and the whistle in the wind
softly sings me lullabys
til I'm asleep again.
and dreaming that you love me;
that you never are away
tho when you reach out to touch me
in that moment, I then wake
from the the sound you feel
when someone's heart first begins to break

Again, I'm searching aimlessly
just to find your absence plain
and again these arms - are longing
for our embrace -- and candle's fire
for my soul--
my love unchained
