But, the story behind this is that I forced myself to not write for a week. Exactly one week later, I wrote this. Coincidence? :P I think not. [bodytext] => Always a week behind,
Gone off and lost my mind,
Can't win, no one cares,
I've been caught unaware.

They overlook me,
Forget what they see,
I can't turn back now,
Move my gaze from the ground.

Can't escape from the fray,
Live through another day,
Only to start again,
Repetition: Man's Best Friend.

They don't really care,
'cause they've never been there.
I've broken the vow,
Lost myself in the crowd.

Can't see through the rain,
Disregarding pain,
Conveying with hate,
To reach out and touch Fate.

Brough to my knees,
But they're deaf to my pleas.
I can't find my way,

Always a week behind,
Gone off and lost my mind,
Can't win, no one cares,
I've been caught unaware.

They overlook me,
Forget what they see,
I can't turn back now,

Intriguing regime for inspiration. If I forced myself to rescind for a week, I'd probably forget to pick up a poetry thought for 2. Like me.

However bold, it strikes a chord, and I like the ending. Neat and tidy.
