I’m calling out
Oh hard callous frightening world
Where I look down the signs flow over mountain over sky
Giving me what I want
Not one small smile to bring in day

Very powerful poem. It can have so many different meanings in it as well... I almost take it as the end of the world, but that's just my twisted take on it :) Anyway, great write!

I hear a need to feel safe with things promising stability and a fear of change. Also a feeling that Rebecca feels that she lacks the emotional skills of wgat she will face in the future.
