[time] => 2002-08-23 08:53:36
[hometext] => I wrote this as a story for my reading buddy many years ago, and today I changed it into a poem for my 18 month old cousin Tyler.
[bodytext] => Little Tyler was King Larry's son
But he never got to have much fun Royal children could not leave the home It was not safe for them to be alone One day in the yard Tyler tripped and fell Into some water, spilled over from the well And when he stood up he saw a small bug And immediately Prince Tyler fell in love "You'll be King Peter!" he exclaimed with pride "I'll never let you go! you'll always be by my side!" But one day while bathing, Tyler put him down And when he got out, he was sad for what he found For he saw that King Peter had gone missin! So Tyler searched his bedroom and the kitchen The throne the dungeon, but Peter was not found Tyler gave up hope, King Peter was not around But when the cook came in with dinner before theater Who else was swimming in his water? King Peter! And so Bobby exclaimed, "I'll never bathe again!" "Well, of course, unless King Peter comes in!"
