I sail in search of dreams that are free, mourning the ones that have died

Silvery moon mesmerizes my thoughts, for a while I take in the warmth
Of things I hold now,not moments I crave
Being thankful for shelter from storms

I could wish for much more, yet be less in my soul
For not smiling for what I have now
It's true though I dream, little things make me whole
For what reality wont often allow

Shimmering stars, remind me of friends, the ones that are so far away
Like the distant horizon,my heart has no end
For what I hold near and dear each day

So sail if I must, dream for I can, never will I cease to have faith

Hi LovingWhispers,

I too share your feelings. I continue to walk in your shoes. Always being thankful and grateful for what I have. I have my life, health and strength. When one has that, they have just about everything. Very heartfelt and sincere write. Thanks for posting. Enjoyed very much.

~Glo!

This is a very beautiful write ... I loved the words and flow Sharon. But, although what you say is true, once you find your soulmate and they can't be by your side, it takes a great deal of strength to be content with the rest of life. I know life wasn't meant to be easy ... and loss/pain build strength and character, but the thought of spending the rest of life without that one by your side is daunting to say the least. I wish I had your strength ... but these words I have read many times, and hopefully they will give me some strength too. .... Jan
