Her life is no longer in your hands
She's been re-sewn again and again
She used to be happy she just doesn't remember when

It's been said that she has no heart
She used to have one, it just fell apart
Tears trickle down her once rosy cheeks
She remembers long ago when she used to speak

No one realizes that she also has pain
Her stitches cover up her punctered veins
You think that you and she aren't the same
You can't even remember her name

YOu watch her drown in all of her shame
Thinking that you aren't to blame
You watch her continuously stumble and fall
YOu think she is just a stupid ragdoll

Stitch her up,everything is fine
You think to yourself, "this is her problem, not mine"
Not being aware of her grief
YOu now are all in a state of disbelief

YOu always thought she was the girl who was just there
No one ever really cared
Until you realized that this was the last time
That you could say "This problem isn't mine"

IT really took that one last smack
TO make the little ragdoll finally crack
SHe couldn't take it any longer
IT wasn't making her any stronger

She slid the blade across her wrists
She scrunched her face and clenched her fist
Then she took her one last breath
As she was devoured by death [comments] => 5 [counter] => 198 [topic] => 36 [informant] => greenlady89 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

That's so sad... but the writing itself is amazing... a story we hear all too often, real or not. If only everyone just looked a little harder. Wonderful, touching write.

Hey... I'm here. I'm here to be the friend you didn't have. I'll listen when you need it.
