[hometext] => Seems like a fair swap
[bodytext] => My wife has told me just last week, To pack a bag and take a sneak, What'd you mean, I've no respect, No, I'm certainly not henpecked. She told me plain, I ain't no younger, She told me plain, she has no hunger, On my surface, she's seen a mar, Then I decided to buy a car. I love a brand new shiny car, Whereon that surface, is no mar, At least it's good thru purchase night, Until the dawn of morning's light. It's then the car is found by birds, who..insist on leaving turds, Upon the metal shiny clean, An act we know to be real mean. A Mercury has been known to be A car throughout the century, When polished bright, it's quite a sight Like Apollo's chariot up in flight. But now, this love, my shiny car Is full of dirt and with a mar, I've lost my love for my Marquis, You can take old Mercury. You say it's only one week old, You never thought it would be sold, But I've had it. Things that age, To me, no longer within me rage. To trade my wife for a new sedan Is more or less the master plan, If birds find me in morning light, It's two to one they'll die of fright [comments] => 3 [counter] => 141 [topic] => 7 [informant] => norm [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )
