My favorite Season is near,
Time to pull out my sun shades, swim suit and sun block too.
Cause Summer is almost here,
Sitting in History Class.....it's the second week of June.
Just thinking about all the fun I'll have,
It's 11:45 p.m now.......almost noon.

Our last day of school, we're busy signing our year books.
Saying our farewells, because our fun is about to begin............
We're all quite excited as you can probably tell.
Some of us will just lay back and enjoy the Summer fun........
Others that have their annual Summer Jobs, can't wait for the weekend to come.

First stop is the Sandy Beach.....where I can just lie in the Sun.
Most of my friends head to the Ocean.........
To take their first dip of the year,
To Officially welcome the long awaited Season........
Yelling and Screaming......"Summer is finally here!"

They're not the only ones making lots of noise,
Summer isn't complete without the Laughing Gulls.
Drifting on the Sultry Currents of the Summer Winds above.
Later on that evening, after such a wonderful day,
My friends and I got together........to decide what to do?
Deciding took longer than we thought..........
I said, "It wouldn't be Summer without a trip to the Famous Wildwood Boardwalk!"

You wouldn't believe the amount of people there that night.......
Everyone anxious to see all the wonderful sights.
The smell of Popcorn, Pizza, and Cheese Steaks in the air.......
Children with Cotton Candy and Ballons everywhere.

There are rides and rides galore, as soon as we get off one......we went looking for more.
"The wilder and faster the better!", one of my friends said to me.
I looked at her and said, "Speak for yourself.......I don't agree!".
Some of the rides here are a bit much for me.
As we step aside to yet another familiar sound...."Watch the Tram Car Please!"

All in all we had a wonderful time............
The Laughing Gulls did too.
Because when Night time comes, they enjoy the Boardwalk.........
The same as me and you.
People sitting on the Boardwalk Benches, engaging in small talk,
Throwing bits of food to the Gulls and the Pigeons as they hover all around.
While listening to all the many Summer Sounds...........
My friends and I head home, after the night is done,
Comtemplating about tomorrow and "The Sounds of Summer Fun."

Nice ride down Memory Lane!
