i was reminded of it when you showed me the picture of a “would have loved to have been there to see it” view spot. Well, the view, or vantage point is what reminded me. the scenery in my t-dream was more of a desert mountain view through a pass of some sort, overlooking a desert plain. so ok, your picture didn’t look at all like the dream…except, for the viewpoint; which of course, means nothing other than it sparked a memory. that’s always cool don’t you think? when some flash of something from anywhere, sparks a vivid memory.

as before, there was the other, almost a shadow figure. and i felt this shadow, to be the same as the one beside me when i saw my father; but this time rather, off and away from me. i am coming to believe this shadow is with me in all of my t-dreams; that it is this one who brings me.
though, in this place, there was another with me, as well. we were side by side, and our shoulders seemed to touch; someone whose face i could not see, but did not need to. i could sense him (and the sense is male) at my side. connected, i knew him without words; we did not speak, but we knew.

and we stared over the distance of the plain below, just as you must have stared over the river and hills from where you stood that day.
but the plain was moving. shifting, changing shape, ever in flux. it appeared as though it was moving rapidly forward, but it did not come any closer. we could see ancient cities forming and crumbling and reforming, evolving and growing, and leveling and reforming over again...time.

he and i, stood in a place outside of the time we watched, and saw ages pass on a desert stage. and it was as though he and i had always been.
then i was back.

i did not know then, why i saw this, or what it meant. i don’t know now.
i did not know who it was by my side, nor do i know now. still, he and i are connected, and i will know him.

and the meaning of what we saw, i do not know. though, i do think of different things, if for nothing else, just to imagine.
lately i think of time itself. and i wonder. are we separate from what we perceive as the passage of time? the old souls, actually old? and those who see ahead, actually are? what of those who see inside?
and i think of distance, so deceiving in that desert, moving rapidly forward without gaining ground.
oh and then i wander into wondering, what is time without our measure? or distance without time? and i think of souls…and circles.
