Array ( [sid] => 23502 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Gunshot [time] => 2003-09-19 14:35:00 [hometext] => I had the nightmares again last night. I thought they'd gone for good. [bodytext] => It's cold, umilluminated here
An undergroung torture chamber
This is Satan's playground for the chosen
I've been here before, I know
But I thought I'd left it all behind.
This is a glasshouse and I'm desperate to escape
Before the nightmare begins again
But you won't let me off so easily won't you?

Gunshot rings through my ears
I'm splintered and I'm crying again
Gunshot rips through my heart
And I'm left wanting to expire
Gunshot twists my bones
Rearranging them to spell "COWARD".

And blood streams through
the atmosphere again
It's your blood drenching me in guilt.

Eden haunts my fears relentlessly
I couldn't get to you in time
I only had your blood on my hands
Lost in a human's panic, I was afraid
I turned away, blurred by the tears
Helpless
I had to watch you die
I had to see the pain and dying
in those eyes -
And now I see them everywhere.

Nightmare, please elude me
I'm longing to wake up
I've lost my soul, become a wraith
I'm driven to kiss insanity
I'm one among the blameworthy
Is it enough to say I'm sorry?
Because God, I'm sorry
I am so sorry
I couldn't save you.

Can you even hear me?

Wow this was so vivid the first two lines pulled me right into the poem. I don't really know what to say except I hope these nightmares stop for you.

Peace,
Bobo (Joel)

Oh wow this is so awesome, but extremely sad. I also don't know the story whether it is nightmares or something slightly real that happened...oh I sure hope that everything will be okay for you. Take care.

Emma.
