* * * [bodytext] => His bright rays bear him up aloft,
The god who knows all that lives
Surya (Sun) that all may look on him.
The constellations of night pass away
Like thieves together with their beams
Before the all-beholding Sun.
His herald rays are seen afar
Refulgent o'er the world of men
like flames of fire that burn and blaze.
Swift and beautiful art thou,
O Sun, maker of the glorious light
illuming the entire radiant realm.
Thou come hither to mankind,
Sun, seeing all things that have birth.
Seven Bay Steeds harnessed to thy car
Bear thee, O thou farseeing One,
Looking upon the loftier light
Above the darkness we have come
To Sun, the God among the Gods,
The light that is most excellent.
O Sun! Remove my disease of eyes
Remove my disease of heart
Remove all diseases through thy rays
Take from me all diseases from my body
To froth of the sea or to the trees of wild
To the desert sands or to the craggy rocks.
With all his conquering vigor
Sun god hath gone up on high
Giving my foe into my hand
Let me not be my foeman's prey!

The thought is beautiful...but
-------------------------------------------
T'would be nice if it were true
to walk in sunlight, all you do
the middle east has sun galore
why can't they adapt, a little more?

Venkat you are a genius when it comes to explaining the love you have for your God.
I loved the line where you stated, "Diseased Hearts! That was so touching, venkat, because today that is mostly what we see....
Hearts of uneasiness, and dis ease! Pray hard venkat....for all the sick hearts and wounded ones too!
If any God will listen....He's sure to listen to you!
Loving heart full of love write!
