But it is no big deal
As no one will complain
For my pain I will not reveal
(And I will carefully not leave a stain).

I just wait and feel my soul bleed
I can't find anything to make it stop
My lonliness is guarenteed
It's a heavy feeling ready to drop
(And I'll never be freed).

A bit of blood I angrily smear
But it always go unseen
No one is able to hear
As I ever so silently scream
(Oh my future is so unclear).

Suddenly I'm used to being ignored
And my heart is really numb
I don't know if my heart can be restored
Or if my pain I can overcome
(In the dark I don't know what I'm walking toward).

Silently and slowly I am dying
And I need a helping hand
For I am realizing
I am getting deeper in this quicksand
Please no more critizing
For this of you I demand
So I can tell you everything
So that someone can understand
(What I feel, so I can heal). [comments] => 3 [counter] => 179 [topic] => 48 [informant] => EmSal [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

I could totally relate to that about a year ago. people tried to help but it made me worse. i went through hell but i survived. and now i'm almost free, and not so far from happy. life can be so hard when we fall into the habit of self harm. stay strong.

Dear Emsal,
I felt everything you felt in your poem, Emsal, for I've been down your road before.
Bleeding heart, bleed soul, bleeding everything.....but one thing you must know....don't ask yourself where you are headed or where you will go?
Make sure you have made plans thoroughly.
Stay on the road...never deviate....keep your eyes on your prize....whatever that may be!
Time never heals, Emsal, but time does reveal.....with it you can heal! So give yourself time, and grace!
You are in my thoughts I only wish I could see your face.
A hug and a great kiss on your cheek....keep writing each week...force yourself! it will cut your grief in half and help you to see where you should be! Warm Love with an embrace!
