Bleed out the hurt, the needy
Bleed out the poor, the misery
Bleed out the homeless all the ills
Of the world I can see

I have the desire to cry,
Cry for the living - Cry those about to die
Shed tears for the lame, for the weak
For those who can’t hear, can’t speak

But

I look upon the world with hate and pity
I laugh at those motivated by self-indulgent greed
I despise it all, from coast to overcrowded city
I spit at you, the ones who want but don’t need

All you care for is your financial gain
Rolex watch, holiday, brand new car
Made by your slaves, suffering in pain
The world collapsing, your everlasting scar

Knock them all down, destroy, pillage
Get rid of the life, you are the king
Content with your ways, champagne, air mileage
No one can argue, at least you can be happy -
With the joys that you bring

I curse you, the merciless, and the freedom you insist on
I hope you choke on your plastic French fries
To me, it all seems such a terrible con
You don’t give a crap, what lives or what dies

I’ve spilt my blood; I’ve shed a tear
But the stain coats my soul, all to clear
Look to the future, its ends the all the same
There’s no fairness, in this unruly game

You said it. I laugh at those who care only for money, all the while watching straving child die in the thousands per hour. Their Rolex could probably buy a staving food for a month. Who really needs 5 bathrooms, 20 bedrooms, and a personal chef, anyways. Great poem.
