I read this mans story and was moved to write this. He killed himslf after the State took his children. [bodytext] => The Hanging of Mark E. Dexel

Chair on the floor.
Lock on the Door.
Wanting to give more.
All silenced by the noose.

Loss of Blood to my mind.
Support falls behind.
Grip slides in time.
All silenced by the noose.

Anger then denial.
Futile jesters to this trial.
Gasping for a while.
All silenced by the noose.

I pull with all my might.
Just to make tight.
Binds know no right.
All silenced by the noose.

Kicks against the heir.
How Love cannot bear.
Judging, an unknowing stare.
All silenced by the noose.

Swinging slowly back to right.
What’s been done this night?
Children grasp this plight.
Not all silenced by the noose.

There are many ways to die
Hang here now or live a lie.
Oh my children do not cry.
Know I fought against the noose.

This is a really good peice and i think that if this man was still alive he would be honored to have you write about him in such a touching form you have quite a bit of talent that any good poet would greatly appreciate. I think you should definatley consider writing more often. please find my work and comment on it
