her Daddy gave her Mom, a bright red rose he picked for her out by the garden gate. He knew he couldn't stay too long, for his ship was sailing soon. He was a man of little words, but he wrote a simple note. It said; Take care of our little girl with bright blue shinning eyes. I pray you both will be okay as I look up to the sky. I can hardly wait until I'm right there by your side. Till then, know that I love you so, and then he cried. On the day that she was wed her Daddy gave to her, a bright red rose he picked for her out by the garden gate. She put it into her bouquet, and he walked her down the isle. He gave the Groom a simple note they read as they drove away. It said; Take care of our little girl with bright blue shinning eyes. I pray you both will be okay as I look up to the sky. I can hardly wait until your back here by my side. Till then, know that I love you so, and then they cried. On the day she had a son her daddy gave to her a bright red rose he picked for her out by the garden gate. A years gone by and he wonders why God took her that night. As he placed a rose on her tombstone he found a simple note. It said; I'll take care of your little girl with bright blue shinning eyes. I pray you both will be okay as I look down from the sky.
