The new morning sun
Drifts slowly over my body
As my consciousness is reawakened
I stretch out
Like a sleek feline
And let out
A sleepy moan
I slowly open my eyes
Afraid last night was a dream
Only to fade with the light's warmth
You gently kiss
My nose
My eyes
My cheek
Finally my mouth
You softly whisper into my ear
"Wake up love."
