Cromatica; scintilla come una nuova stella,
Mentre esce dall’acqua-così bella
Con una maestosità che non c’era-
Sul lago brumoso nella dolce sera
L’aria è viva col ronzio della libellula,
Quando sopra il specchio acquoso vola:
Una spettacolo che si allarga i cuora...

Una gran schiera prismatica
D’ale ed armatura
Venga, e poi passa-
Come una regata mistica,
Un’armonia di vita e colori della Natura
Che fra poco si sapre colla sera rossa.

Io giro a voi
Voi, che siate la mia pace,
No; nostra-che ci bagna con una dolce
Sensazione nell’estate davanti a noi.

E l’estate gira e suona, nell’inno
D’amore silvestre, che abbraccia tutta...

Sigh.......ok, here I go.

The dragonfly puts on its armor:
Chromatic; sparkling like a new star,
While it comes out dall’water-so beautiful
With a majesty that wasn't there-
On The misty lake in the sweet evening
The air is alive with humming of the dragonfly,
When above the watery mirror it hovers:
A sight that gladdens the heart

A big prismatica rank
Ofwings and framework
Comes, and then goes-
Like a mystical regatta,
A harmony of life and colors of Nature
That after a while fades off back into the crimson evening.

I turn to you
You, who you are my peace,
No; ours-that bathes us with a sweet
Feeling in the summer before us.
I smile at you-you-smile at me, and then-
One moment later and all is silent..
And life smiles at us, in the light
That shined above us.

In the lake, the swans sing in chorus
Like boats of silver and ebony,
Gliding in the tranquility that visits us-
We steal another kiss, in the tender wind
And the summer turns and sounds, in the hymn
Of sylvan love, that embraces all..
