I can’t see the stars
I can’t see the baby wings fluttering around
I can’t see the soft down pour of streaming tears
Upon my breast
I can’t see the unseen lashes of lightening
In the leaps of the streams of tears
I can’t sing a warm song as I did in my past
I can’t save my self from the avalanche of death
And all of a sudden I can’t cut my strings of love
I can’t escape from the wet eye lids
That festoon on the four sides of my bed
I hear the barking of a dog from a near place
One star is sliding slowly from the sky
In the house the wind is howling
The cries are splitting to pieces in the sky
And the silence is heaping heavily here
As my breath gallops like a horse in fright
To the narrow border line between life and death
Where the two are boxing in a bout with each other
In the air flames up a fresh breath of fire
On the earth remains a new clod of mud
For an inch a flower of light blossomed up
The heart of waters shuddered with broken cries
And the swan of soul has taken its heavenly flight!
