Once lived “Flower and Thorn”,
were both together born.
Though close to one another,
yet different from each other.
“Lovely and captivating,”
“do I not look amazing?”
On thorn the flower prided,
offended and degraded.
The thorn would never mind it,
instead always reminded.
“I know I may look odd,”
"but glad was made by God!”
And came one day all messing,
a goat bleating and mauling.
It ruined almost all garden.
All fruits would beg its pardon!
Flower was queued up after,
at mercy of the monster.
But when goat bit the flower,
the thorn pricked on with power.
Ouch! It said and ran away.
Gladly would flower sway.
Flower admitted reality,
and vanished all its vanity.
“I confess I disgrace you!”
“Forgive me, I do beg you!”
“I am because you are there!”
“Thank you for being always near!”

I thought this was great.
I never looked at things this way and as you said,
there certainly is a purpose behind every creation. NICE! |

I agree with Jim, this WAS great. Full of wisdom and humility that we all would be better off as humans to pay attention to.
VERY well done.
Barkeep! A drink for my very perseptive friend.

nature is a difference in color
to shield itself from the suns
rays, to exists,
and so as it exists, it gives
nutrients back, so there
you go, nature says,
you see I evolved,
like a story unfurls
with hints and sweet
smells, the primordial swamp
unleashed her works,
in mysterious ways

Wonderfully told. A modern day fable.
Now when I look at the less than lovely things in this world, I will challenge myself to understand the purpose they serve.
As the weeds in my garden make me spend time with the flowers.
