Array ( [sid] => 1849 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => My merry go round guy [time] => 2002-08-06 13:37:05 [hometext] => This poem tells exactly how crazy I am! I went to the county fair this week and saw these 2 hot guys working the rides one of them was workin the merry go round and he was so cute he made me go crazy! This is how I felt for him.... [bodytext] => I saw u at the fair and u smiled at me
I looked at u looking back at me
thinking about how we could never be
I rode the ride u worked with joy
I knew u weren't no boy
but u were young, cute, and sweet
I wanted u and I to properly meet
I got so crazy over u
All I wanted to do was walk by u
U were my ferris wheel guy
I didn't wanna be shy
So I looked at u and u smiled
after all I'm not no child
I am 15 and old enough to know
that all I could do was look and smile at u
then I had to go
I walked by the merry go round and came to a stop
my heart quickly began to drop
Another guy stood before me
cute as he could be
Working the merry go round a little kids ride
If only he knew how I felt inside
He told me to come and ride, not to be shy
I wasn't embarrassed he was my merry go round guy
He smiled at me and told me to have a goodnight
He made me feel so right
How could my night be good without him?
He made my heart go crazy oh yes it's true
then all I could think about was him and me
I wanted to ask him for his name
I wondered if he felt the same
The look he gave me and his sweet smile
Made me realize I definetly ain't no child
I think he actually felt for me
maybe for a second he wished we could be
My merry go round guy and I mmm mmm mmm I can not lie
I think I'm crazy
but why not be
I saw the way he was looking at me
and I couldn't forget my ferris wheel guy who just so happened to be at the wipeout
I wanted to scream and shout
He talked to his friends working the ride
and watched me smiling he knew how I felt inside
After all he was my ferris wheel guy
I watched him walk away
There was so much I wanted to say
I wanted to cry over my ferris wheel guy
But then again I saw my merry go round guy
whom I felt much stronger for
oh he made me want him more and more
He smiled at me and made me crazy
I hated to leave
I wonder if I'll ever see him again
after all
These feelings aren't no sin
I hope to one day see his face
like I did in that special place
At the fair where no one gives a care
At the fair with happiness and love in everyone's eyes
At the fair with all those guys
No one topped my merry go round guy
it ain't no lie [comments] => 2 [counter] => 230 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Sweetie [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
