Recently,
I have been told I have an old soul,
and I/'/m not entirely sure what that means.
Do they mean to compare me to an old man?
Or does it mean that I think in similar ways?
Sure, I enjoy quiet nights to myself,
I prefer my books to television,
and I/'/ve listened to Frank Sinatra since I was 15 years old.
Maybe it says that I like old things.
Or maybe my soul is older than I am.
I wonder if it/'/s a dangerous condition.
Should I be worried about my soul dying before I do?
Or maybe it means that I wouldn/'/t fit in with others around my age.
Perhaps I need an age group reassignment surgery.

Whatever the case,
I/'/m not sure what to make of it.
I always thought I was simply unique,
but now I/'/m rather worried.
I wonder if there are others with the same condition. Yes I/'/m one........ lol
I had an old soul when I was young. I think it decays the body eventually :) I think we should say they have a nostalgic mind- you think back to the golden days.

In case I/'/m wrong you better put your body on ice....
Good write!!!

“Should I be worried about my soul dying before I do?” This is a golden question. I never thought of it this way.

I’ve always considered an old soul to be one that has died and reincarnated or renewed its lease several times (not necessarily in the same place).

It’s no worry. Time isn’t linear and neither are we.
